How can the KBE offer such great discounts on new vehicle purchases?
Collectively, Builders Exchanges throughout the United States and Canada represent over 60,000 construction firms. The Knoxville Builders Exchange, through its partnership with BXNet - The Builders Exchange Network, combines the buying power of all those companies to negotiate fleet discount plans and preferred buying offers from auto manufacturers. We then pass those savings on to our members, regardless of the size of the company or how many vehicles are being purchased. What's the difference between the Employee Price and the Member Price above? The Member Price is representative of the prices that a KBE member firm would get if they were buying vehicles for use in a company fleet. The Employee Price represents the prices that employees of KBE member firms would receive if buying a vehicle for personal use. 
How do these prices compare to what I might get at a local dealer?
You can expect to save anywhere from $2,000 - $5,000 or more off the best deal that you will find at most local car lots. The discounts will vary depending on the make and model, with the highest discounts available on construction- type vehicles like pickup trucks and vans from the big three U.S. manufacturers (Ford, Chrysler, & General Motors). What if I want to buy a sedan / minivan / SUV / etc. instead of a truck, or a model from another manufacturer like Toyota / Mercedes / etc? The Preferred Fleet Program can save you money on any vehicle purchase, no matter the make or model. The best discounts currently are available from Chrysler and Ford, but we have discount programs with every manufacturer that sells cars in the U.S. What if I need a truck or cargo van that has been customized for my particular needs with integrated tool boxes, interior shelving or racks, etc? We work with both manufacturers and after-market installers to offer just about any customization that you might need. Just let us know what your specific requirements are, and we will find the best way to get exactly what you want and have the vehicle delivered to you ready to go to work. 
What do I need to do to see how much money I could save on my next vehicle purchase?
First, decide on what make and model you are interested in. Go to a local dealer and shop around, or use online resources like the manufacturers' web sites. Once you have decided what model and options you want, complete this form online to send your information to the KBE. We will then pass your information along to Momentum Fleet Management Group, the organization that is administering this program for us. Within a couple of days, you should be contacted from someone at Momentum with their best price, along with more information about vehicle availability, delivery options, and any other pertinent details. |
